Dealing With Pain

"How do you deal with pain?" my Boss asked me.

"I try to ignore it, Sir, and enjoy life as if nothing happened," I replied.

“That’s wrong, Nice. Feel the pain. If you feel like crying, cry. It would help.

Because…

The best way to ease the pain is to stay with the pain. Time heals all wounds…

… and always remember, a broken heart is always stronger than a heart that has never been broken.”

  1. That's true. There is always a lesson to be learn when you feel pain. If you didn't learn it, then pain will return for you to learn it.

  5. @ dante: well i guess you're right. learn the lesson at the very first time you made that mistake and never ever dare to do it again... because if you do, you'll get hurt again. however, not all cases are the same. how would you know if you won't try again? maybe we just have to be more careful next time.

@ ella: yes, i am in pain pero slight lang. i can manage. sabi nga ni tita cory, you won't lose the pain, you only get used to it.

@ superf: i accepted the truth the very day i discovered it. what's good is that i was hurt, yes, but i already have forgiven him. i guess accepting is a pre-requisite for letting go and moving on. and yes, God is good all the time.

@ ar-wee-der-yet and photo cache: thanks, kegler, for taking time to visit and read my blog. be happy always!

  6. We're both P.Coelho's fan, right? Now that you're in pain, just remember the line in his book, The Alchemist: "Anyone who interferes in the destiny of others will never discover his own."

You made the right decision when you let him go... besides, you are free as a bird to locate your destiny. Just fly... feel the beauty of life... and soon, you will meet the right one.

Borrowing your fave line, "this too shall pass."
