Nicely @ 1: Singing By the Heart

Today, October 16, is my first anniversary as a member of the Office of the President (OP) Chorale. Time runs so fast I haven’t noticed that I have survived and enjoyed a year of learning how to sing, literally speaking.

I can’t sing. That was my belief before I joined the OP Chorale. I proved myself wrong. Through a series of vocalizations, lectures on music, notes reading sessions, diaphragm exercises and live performances, I, therefore, conclude that singing is for everyone, and each of us - with determination, discipline and commitment - can excel in this field. I know I still have to learn more, though.

  5. I have accepted eons ago that I wasn't born to sing which is okay lang naman kasi I am kinda good at something else naman eh. LOL.

  9. wow! chorale member! galing naman. i used to be a member of our office choir too. pero na bad trip ako when we guested in a cocktail party where para kaming timang na kumakanta habang kwentuhan naman ng kwentuhan ang audience! he he
