Movies I Watched This November

QUANTUM OF SOLACE. As expected, Dad asked me to go with him to watch James Bond. Though I heard that this is not as good as other previous James Bond movies, seeing Daddy happy watching is enough to make me smile.
ONE TRUE LOVE. I watched this with my cousins, Julie Ann and Allan. It may sound "jologs" but who cares? We really are. Being one isn't lethal, right?
BOLT. Ooops! It's Bolt! I was dying to see this on silver screen but the one I wanted to be with while watching this movie wasn't available at the time (because of work work work) so i scheduled a date with someone else... Someone available but already taken. It's ok, he is a good boy and I am a good girl. Peace!
TWILIGHT. I watched Twilight after seeing Bolt with the same person I was with in the latter. It was such a great romantic movie so I watched it again the next day. I grow more and more in love with Edward as I stare at him; it's as if he's hypnotizing me! Damn! Stop it, Ed...

"What if I'm not the hero? What if I'm the bad guy?"

A Day in Nueva Ecija With My Superfriend

I said in this post that I need to breathe some fresh air and unwind. The moment my Superfriend told me that she is going to her hometown to file her application for name correction in her birth certificate, I never had a second thought. I told her I wanted to go and that I would be using my remaining special privilege leave (SPL) for this year just to accompany her. I knew she was so happy about my decision to go with her since her boyfriend, Edwin, cannot come because he is in Cebu for official business.

I want to share some photos that we took during our adventure in Cabanatuan, Peñaranda and Gapan, Nueva Ecija.

Stranded!!! Waiting for the next bus to pick us up =)
Baliwag Transit, Inc. Terminal, Baliuag, Bulacan
Stopping over and taking some pictures =) SMILE!
Documenting Superf's experience at Cabanatuan City Hall

Photocopying the needed documents for her name correction...
Fallin' in line for her cedula
Paying for the processing fee while texting her Bot.
Filling up the application form
We were also able to meet with Superf's high school bestfriend, Leah de Guzman

There's no dull moments with my Superf because we have so many things to talk about plus the fact that the sceneries in North Luzon are indeed delightful to our eyes. I super duper over enjoyed this Nueva Ecija adventure!

Battery Low

I have back pains now… maybe because I have been working on tons of paper works since early morning. I edited 50+ letters of commendation, drafted four presidential messages, and prepared 7 referrals addressed to department secretaries and heads.

I am not happy with work now. I just feel I have to unwind and change my environment for a while. My battery is going low… I have to recharge. I want to take a break and breathe some fresh air.

But where?

My Clear Black Night Experience

The Clear Black Night Party held last October 31 had been a wonderful experience since it was a different kind of blog party. All bloggers and guests were in black and unlike other blog events, this one was spontaneous, no programme, no emcees, no limits. Party to the max!

It was also a different experience for me. Why? Because there I met again my good friend who used to be my travel buddy (Coron, Palawan & Pagudpud/Vigan, Ilocos trips). She is Michelle. We've not seen each other for almost two years now until the black party. I was very happy to see and chat with her again.

With Mich
With friends and the Predator(a)

It was also a night to meet in person my longtime friend blogger, Ivan Girl, whose baby boy Miguel is so so so cute! She was a schoolmate in UP whom I only met in the blogosphere through my sister/cousin, Jena. Thanks for uploading our pic after ten years, Mare.

Everyone in the party was built with confidence as they wore their black outfit. There was no need to hesitate approaching co-bloggers because using Clear gave us the 100% confidence that we needed to socialize and blend with the crowd. That is the main goal of Clear Black Shampoo: to make us feel beautiful inside and out by removing the irritating presence of dandruff on our scalp while maintaining the softness and smoothness of our hair.

Because of Clear, at the end of the day, I can party all the way without having worries and dismay.

I hope to attend more blog parties like this with my good friends and newly found ones. Thanks, Clear, for organizing such an event!

My Cherie!

After joining Ms. Aileen Apolo's What Kind Of Food Are You? Contest sponsored by Delifrance, and winning it, I claimed my prize - a tray couture coupon - from Geiser Maclang in Makati. At Delifrance-Alabang Festival Supermall, I ordered my Cherie: a set of California chicken sandwich, garlic pesto pasta and a long glass of four seasons juice drink. It also comes with some bread sticks with a tomato-based dip, and chocolate for dessert.

The sandwich tasted good, the chicken I think was grilled, and the veggies were fresh and crunchy, too. The pasta? Ahmmm... it was also good but t'was some kind of greasy. I guess, the staff put excess olive oil on it. All in all, it was ok and filling.

Thanks, Ms. Aileen!

At the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani

This is how we celebrate All Saints' Day every year. A visit to the cemetery to offer flowers, light candles and say prayers for my deceased uncles who were soldiers. I also prayed for my Lola who passed away in 2006 and another uncle in 2007.
