Lately, I have taken for granted my passion for books. I have not given enough time – quality time – to read. I hate myself for [sometimes] having the trait of a “ningas-kugon” and for advocating the maniana habit.
Now, I’ll be more firm in committing my effort to finish reading all the [unread and pending] books in my shelves, computer and PDA. I am doing this not for anybody else, but for myself.
Most often than not, the things that we take for granted are the ones that can truly make us happy and complete.
So, let’s see what books are in store in 2009?
Books in my shelves:
-12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do to Help Our Country by Alexander Lacson
-The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
-To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
-Sexy, Sassy, Singularly Happy
-In the Presence of My Enemies by Gracia Burnham
-Exit to Eden by Anne Rice
-The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang
E-books in my PC and PDA:
-Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
-New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
-Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
-Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
-Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
-Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
-Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
-He’s Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt & Liz Tuccillo
I aim to accomplish these books before the year ends. Aja!
-= Not only books, I also would like to try to allocate some of my time to movie watching. I think I deserve some pleasure after busy days in the office. Good thing is I have a new DVD player and new computer where I can watch my prospective movies =-
