Summer 2009: Tampisaw Beach Resort, Iba, Zambales

The OP-Finance Office invited me to come with them during their summer office outing in Iba, Zambales. Of course, who am I to say "no"?

After Melay (my sponsor and kumare) and I went [emergency] shopping at SM Manila, where I bought my new pair of Ipanema, we proceeded to the Malacañang Motorpool to meet the others who will join us.

We left Manila (April 3) at exactly 11 P.M. and arrived at Tampisaw Beach Resort in Iba, Zambales (April 4) at around 6:30 A.M. Well, it was quite a long trip because we got lost. Yes, our driver didn't know the way. Great!!!

But it was quite a worthy road trip because the venue was beautiful, the beach enticing and the resort wonderful. We excitedly went to the beach to take some pics and swim. Then we consensusly decide to rent a motor boat and go snorkeling. The boatman brought us to the middle, waist-high part of the sea where coral reefs and seaweeds lively sway with the waves and fishes of different colors and sizes skillfully play peek-a-boo with us.

After that, we went back to the resort and ate lunch. Then we swam again this time in the swimming pool until mid-afternoon. It was only a day outing and the time ran so fast we realized it was time to pack our things up. In general, I really enjoyed this out-of-town beach escapade, especially because I spent it with good friends.

And here's my remembrance from our snorkeling activity. I got caught by the katig and was bruised upon jumping from the motorboat. That is how to enjoy life!!! Seize the day!!!
