The first 100 female OP employees to register today were given FREE anti-cervical cancer vaccine. I was No. 43. Thanks to Adel for the early notice.
After 2 months, I'll have my 2nd shot of it. The 3rd and last will be given on the 6th month and that would complete the series of Gardasil. Reports say that it costs P5,000 per shot. Isn't it great to have it for FREE?
I can't wait to be dosed again because it didn't hurt at all. Swear!

OP Cheering Competition 2009
The OP Sportsfest 2009 is aimed at strengthening the camaraderie, friendship, sportsmanship and teamwork among its heads and employees. I always look forward to the summer season because it is the time when activities like this are being held for our wellness and well-being.
And to my team, the BLUE TEAM, I also congratulate ourselves for being declared as the 1st Runner-Up. We all know that we did our best and we are the champions in our hearts and minds. We didn't lose, we are also winners because we gained new friends. I will miss our cheering practices, our lunch and dinner moments and our water breaks! Hehehe!

Friday Thoughts
It's Friday and I have to accomplish all my deadlines before I go for a vacation leave. I know I can't, but I'll try my best. Good luck to me!
I still have pending blog posts about my Anawangin Cove trip last April 25-26, particularly on my camping, beacheneering, trekking and nature tripping adventures. Time won't allow me to do it today. I have other more important priorities to give time to. Ok, that adds up to my backlogs. Another good luck to me!
I am about to go to our province tomorrow for a vacation. I filed my five-day forced leave just to be there for our town fiesta and to visit my Lolo, who is 80+ years old now. I just hope typhoon Emong leaves today. I don't want to travel by boat when the weather is bad even when it is the only way to get there.
The OP Blue Cheering Team has been practicing for more than a month now for the competition supposed to be today. But because of some reasons I really don't know, perhaps because of Manny Pacquiao's courtesy call to MalacaƱang, it has been moved to May 15. The sad thing is that I'll be leaving tomorrow for Romblon and will be back on the 17th. I have no choice but to give up my membership in the cheering team. It's not my fault. I'm sorry.
On a lighter mode, it's GROCERY TIME!!! I have to buy "baon" for my provincial trip. Cousin Ging and her daughter Knexy will go with me so I need to make sure we'll never get hungry. I am planning to cook rice, fried tilapia and longganisa for lunch and dinner, and prepare sandwiches for merienda. I demanded Ate Ging to cook adobo, it is her specialty and she cooks it better than me.
Guys, please wish us a happy and safe trip!
