I ♥ New Moon Because I ♥ Jacob!

I am not a Twilight Saga die-hard fan or a member of Team Edward. Yes, I loved the first movie, Twilight, directed by Catherine Hardwicke, but I did not expect I would love New Moon more. Director Chris Weitz did a great job!Synopsis:

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is a Fantasy, Drama, Romance, Horror, Thriller by Pioneer Films and runs for 2 hours and 10 minutes. This is the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful Twilight series. This is where Bella Swans (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of only to find herself in greater peril and where the love triangle with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) intensified.

New Moon is all about Jacob, his transformation as a werewolf and his untiring love for Bella. I admire him for always being there for Bella, ready to help and protect her when Edward is nowhere to be found. I admit, Edward has no appeal to me in this movie. Sorry, Team Edward... I think we are all entitled to our own opinions, right? I am just sharing how I really feel about this movie. But who knows? I might like him again in the next two chapters of the Saga.

Now back to Jacob. As I am saying, New Moon is all about Jacob... and shamelessly, Jacob is all over me. Hahaha! I can't help but salivate upon seeing his masculine and nicely toned body. I am really shocked the first time he appeared in the scene. He has grown into a big man compared to what he looked like in Twilight, still with long hair though. But when he reached the werewolf stage, when he should cut his hair short and always be partly nude, I can't deny the fact that he is truly "yummy," as i coined him to my friends. Plus his character in the story which shows deep and lasting amor for Bella, ready to sacrifice his own happiness just to see his beloved happy and safe, there is no doubt why Jacob has captured the hearts of a lot of girls, including me.

I won't spoil the story by giving more hints. I just let you enjoy the story as you unfold each page on your own. All I can say is that Director Weitz made sure the viewers will watch the third sequel, Breaking Dawn, because of its cliffhanger ending.

Preparing for a Simple yet Meaningful Birthday Celebration

Another year will add up to my age and I have a month to prepare. For the past years, I celebrated my birthdays one week before and one week after my exact birthdate. But this year, I plan to celebrate it one month before and after.

I started it with a kick when I drew the winners of my blog contest last November 7. Congratulations to Mee-i, Rizza, Iris and to the grand winner, Heart! (Text me for your cellphone load! May expiry date yun! Hahaha!) I also joined my cousin on her 18th birthday last November 7. I shared three Red Ribbon's White Forest Cakes with her ♥ Isn't it so sweet?

On the last weekend of November, I am scheduled to treat my Godchildren/nieces, Effie Gail whose birthday is on the 29th and Knexy whose birthday is on the 2nd of December, to Manila Ocean Park, Luneta and Manila Zoo. Of course, with their respective mothers, Jenny and Ging, along with cousin Ann and her daughter Nicole who happens to be my Goddaughter, too. This will also be a bonding moment for us - grown-ups - to reminisce our childhood past when we were still kids crazily playing and running around Rizal Park and Manila Zoo.

So far, these are my plans. I am still contemplating my December 7 celebration, I want to be in Corregidor that day ♥ I also plan to visit Kamay ni Hesus in Quezon for thanksgiving. Anyways, I am not in a rush, I can spend more quality time and share my birthday blessings with family and friends until January 7 onwards.

Happy 18th Birthday, Car!

Maricar, my cousin, celebrated her 18th birthday with a blast last night with family, relatives, friends, classmates and neighbors. It was really a great night! Cheers, Car!

Of course, because the Special Candle goes to me, it was only fitting that I wore green. Wahahaha! I love my new top from ENCORE (SM Dept. Store-SM Dasma, P599.75 only).

And as promised, the cake was my treat. Three WHITE FOREST round cakes from Red Ribbon (P560 each). Yum-yum!

I Love Polka Dots!

This polka dots doctor's bag is a much-awaited buy. My Lil Sis has one and I asked her to buy one for me, too. After her failure to find another in Divisoria, we both saw the item along Pedro Gil's bangketa. Withouth even thinking, and with cash in hand, she bought two and I got mine, for only P280 each.This bag is made of high quality nylon material with colored polka dots print. The handle and black horizontal straps on its body are made of thick rubber, which can hold an estimate of 4 kilos of load. It has a zipper pockets and 2 cellphone pockets inside.

I think this bag can accommodate my clothes, kikay kit and other stuffs good for 1-2 days and I can use it as an alternative to my backpacks and mail bags during emergency out-of-town travels with friend/s.
