Choosing a Door for my House in Tanza

In 2007, our office raffled more than 100 housing units in Katuparan Ville, Tanza, Cavite for deserving employees and I was so glad to be one of the lucky winners. I was so excited that I asked Mommy to help me out with the house development and construction expenses for me to be able to move in as soon as possible.

It was indeed a difficult yet challenging task to improve my own house because some factors should be prioritized such as the quality and quantity of the materials, design, purpose and budget.

One of the most important parts of the house is the door furniture since safety and security is an issue in the community. Even door handles are being stolen by unidentified groups so I made sure that the Narra door I purchased is really durable.

I was so happy with my natural-colored Narra door with floral carvings, which I bought for P5,500.00 and imported from a wood furniture shop in Caloocan City. It really suits my taste and it looks good with my sliding glass windows, too.

I have also used the entire vacant back lot for the extension of my kitchen and toilet/bathroom to make the living, dining and bed rooms wider. Improvements are still under process and I am still saving money for the division and improvement of rooms, and for additional furniture and appliances.

  6. Ang swerte naman at house & lot ang nakuha mo. Perfect choice for the narra door,I'm sure it will last for a looong time. And I agree that the door is important coz it's the one which will be first noticed by guests and should reflect the homeowner's personality. It can also dictate what style of the entire house, kung minimalistic ba, asian or country style.. =)

Naku, ang dami ko ng sinabi. =)
