I am indeed a fairy godmother to all, believing in the magical powers of educational toys and children's books. At the age of 29, I already have 29 godchildren. During Christmas, I make it a point that gifts I give them will truly be of good use. So aside from clothes and shoes, I also give educational toys and children’s books as gifts, for them to be able to enhance their knowledge, talents, and skills.
Board games such as chess, word factory, scrabble, and puzzles can be great presents for our youngsters. I also play with them so we can bond. Fairytales, workbooks, dictionaries, and coloring books are nice gifts, too, as these will improve their reading comprehension, eye-and-hand coordination, and logic. When I was still young, I used to read Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and The Little Mermaid over and over again, and I can say that children’s books are really effective in developing intelligence and creativity. I am a living proof to that.
So now I am preparing the list of things to buy for my kids this Christmas. In a few days, I will be on the task of buying the items one-by-one, to save myself from last-minute shopping and cramming caused by the holiday season. I will also buy some educational supplies for kids and school supplies for my officemates as well. I hope they would like it.

ReplyDeleteEducational toys are the best toys that we can give to our kids. Whatever toys that you choose for your children, bear in mind that with you sharing the their joy of playing will only make the experience more beneficial for both you and your children.
