Tonight Yobs and I attended the Teleserv's bloggers' event at the Gateway Mall, Cubao. It was his fourth blog event so I made sure this one would be memorable. With "Fast Five" as the highlight of the night, I was sure this was a hit for him.
While Yobs enjoyed the movie as I did, we also got the chance to learn new things about the processing of public documents from NSO, POEA and DFA. As a government employee, I am glad that government offices such as the ones I mentioned above continue to do their best to serve the public as fast as they could.
Teleserv, the premier citizen service provider in the country, is upgrading and laying out new systems that would meet the public's demand for efficient, quality services. One of these is the expansion of the National Statistics Office from its Birth Certificate Delivery Helpline (02 7371111) to the launch of the www.birthcertificates.com.ph, the new online channel that allows applicants to chat on the web with NSO officers regarding their NSO certificate requests, inquiries, and other related concerns. Another development is the opening of the Online Payment Channel, where clients can pay for their NSO certificate requests online using credit cards. It is safe and secured because the facility is in compliant with the strict certifications of the PCI-DSS.
The POEA OEC Balik-Manggagawa Delivery Service is also open to all OFWs who return to the Philippines for a vacation. Securing overseas exit clearance is just as easy as 1-2-3 when they use the www.oecdelivery.com.ph website. They process their OECs without going to the POEA, know the status of their application, check the requirements needed based on the country or jobsite, and check on current fees, labor market restrictions, and useful tips for their vacation.
And for those who haven't gotten their passport yet, the DFA Passport Appointment System offers its free appointment service via hotline (02 7371000) and online at www.passport.com.ph. This is such a swift task, all you have to do is complete the requirements and schedule your appointment with the DFA. I tried this myself already when I applied for my passport renewal in January 2011. In less than 14 working days, I got my renewed, machine readable passport, which I intend to use in October for our KL-Sg trip.
Thank you Teleserv for your continuing commitment to serve us better. Also, I would like to acknowledge and give you thanks for choosing "Fast Five" as the movie to be screened. It perfectly fits your service: fast, systematic, and result-oriented. More power!

ReplyDeleteThe the opening of the Online Payment Channel is indeed a very good development for the company. Every payment will surely be safe and secured because this company has passed the PCI Compliance certification. I hope that the company will continue its efforts to provide excellent services to its clients.
